After I named this doll I had a wonderful email from  a lady named "Verlie". I asked the origin of her name and she said it had come from the bible. "Verily, verily, I say unto you". It made Verlie more special to me.

She is an 18" doll, holding a mini heart design quilt.With vintage lace at her cuffs and neckline, she has a tiny heart button on her collar and black painted Mary-Jane shoes.
