Each time I find a new piece of embroidered linen I think it is my favorite. The doilie I used it Susanna's dress was such a piece and it was hard to part with. I am always curious about the person who embroidered such a piece. Standing 24" tall she wears a soft green and beige floral cotton dress and muslin eyelet trimmed pantaloons. Her braids are mohair tied with green satin ribbon and her painted shoes are laced. She would be perfect to sit in a summer corner.
